One side note in pencil: "the door is the question, not the answer." I do not remember writing this, but it is my handwriting.
Someone before me underlined every instance of the word "anyway." I tried to find a pattern. There was no pattern.
I have stopped putting my name in books before lending them. The ones that come back come back. The ones that do not, did not need to be mine in the first place.
